Usergroups

Postby Eldorion on Thu Oct 15, 2009 6:25 pm

I was looking at my User Control Panel and I noticed there was a page for Usergroups, but there don't seem to be any. I'm not entirely sure what a Usergroup is (this being the only forum with them even as an option that I'm active on), but I was curious. What are usergroups? And will there ever be any on this forum?

Just curious. :)

A user group is a club focused on a certain goal, really. Though... we're on a Forum, so I would think of this as a club... with a goal to learn more about The Hobbit and Tolkien  . Anyways, perhaps a User Group might research a certain aspect of the topic on the forum while another focused on something else, that's just my guess. :?

EDIT: I just checked your profile for the first time, Eldorion, and your age shocks me!  Not in a bad way, of course, but great to see thriving, intelligent youths out there  .

It almost sounds a bit redundant, at least on a forum as young and small as ours, though that's probably why we don't have any. :? Thanks for your help.

Also, thank you for your kind words.

Yes, that's what I was thinking exactly, Eld :) .

And no problem, just giving you what you deserve ;) .
