Some of you guys criticise Peter Jackson for Hobbit.

So have a look at purist version of Hobbit: http://youtu.be/6m0l3Yr1B50

Look at Gollum, hes my favourite. Gandalf is cool too. For purists: notice there s no Azog at all :)

Slejo I have never undestood the argument you seem to make- when comparing two bits of s**t its not much an argument to say 'see, this bit of s**t is even smeller than that one'- they are both still s**t at the end of the day.

Not sure what the time of day has to do with it, but PJs Hobbit is far from shit.

Not saying it is, exactly- only that comparing something that isnt very good to something that is worse does not change the first thing.
An argument I often here is 'be glad Pj made them and not someone worse'- same argument. Just because it could be done worse doesn't automatically make PJ's any good. In fact it has no bearing on the quality or otherwise of Pj's films.
Its more the argument makes me crabbit Carcharoth as its false- yet I keep hearing it as if its a defense of Pj.
