Led Zeplin, idk if anyone else has said this, but the song Ramble on mentions gollum and the evil one, then theres the Misty mountain hop, and the battle for evermore. All of them are LOTR related

Good Call Tinuviel,. That's one of my fave Zep songs  .

I also have Bo Hannson's Music nspired by LotR. He's a Swedish Prog-Rocker from the 70s. If you like early 70s progressive rock, check it out. I have it on vinyl. I haven't googled yet to see if he's still around.

Is anyone a fan of Olde English Folk? I know a great artist, Kate Rusby, me and my Dad went to see her and the folk-band play when I was little. The music is very melancholy and she has a beautiful singing voice as well as playing acoustic guitar rythmically. Her band also have alot of skill and talent, the music is beautiful and I could listen to it forever! John McCuster plays violin which is usually accompanied by flute or traditional english pipe, of which is used for the soundtrack for LotR. She played at Cambridge Folk Festiful (though I've never been :) . The songs (almost all of them) have traditional lyrics and the band brings a fresh new feel to them. You should really check it out if your a fan of folk, has anyone heard of her? I think her music would really fit the LotR (maybe sang in a celtic language).

Is anyone a fan of Bob Dylan?

I love Celtic folk music. Big fan of Loreena McKennit in particular, Enya too (though her Celtic music is more New Agey). Also a fan of Amy Krupski, Celtic harpist, and Patrick Ball. Any of those artists would sound great in LotR. I'm afraid I don't know the musician you mentioned though.

And i do like some of Bob Dylan's old Folk Music, not so fond of his later stuff.

She did - it was the final track (May It Be) on FOTR according to Amazon.
