Yes it's entirely in colour. And the level of artistry is consistently maintained throughout.

I don't really read that many comic/ graphic novels, but the thought of a LoTR graphic novel sounds awesome!!!

Long time noone post on here- but hey ho! The Hobbit graphic novel is a very good stab at adapting the book- always liked their representation of Bilbo. Ive been a big comics fan for long years- if I had to recommend stuff I'd go with almost anything written by a fellow scotsman Grant Morrison- from Arkum Asylum to his superioly surreal run of Doom Patrol (one character in that is called Danny- he's a transvestite sentient street they all live on), and I'm sure GB - and others of similar mind-you would find much to muse and ponder in his millenium busting Invisibles series. Not so big a fan of his more restrained runs doing major Marvel characters but his take on Animal Man is very good.
