First off, thanks to GB for suggesting. My first try with inks

. Not quite what you were expecting I think but its not the finished product (once I manage to get my hands on another pen & black ink I'll try a "calmer" colour scheme

)
Just got them down a couple of hours ago and had a play around for 5 minuets (10 inches of snow outside, got soaking wet throwing snowballs with my mates, then didn't have much else). The things time does to inks,

The indian black was oil with a black spot at the bottom, and the deep yellow was like blocks of water colour. Anyway heres the link to the updated photo album with the inks alongside the original sketches (not too sure if its a different URL). Not bad for five minuets work and 3 colours, if a bit oily.

)

Colour image3:Hobbit dwelling
Ps. Sorry the lines are a bit unclear, the pen was missing and the black had decomposed.
