Was the addition of female Elf Guard Tauriel a step too far in The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug, considering she's not even a Tolkien character? (select one or more answers).
- If she adds something good to the story then yes, obviously.
- Definitely No! Stick to the story, end of...
- Only if they had found a better actor.
- I'll wait and see - I'm undecided until I see the movie.
- Sounds too much like trying to hook in female viewers at the expense of the storyline.
