The Hobbit Movie Blog Short-listed at TotalFilm

by The Hobbit on January 16, 2009

The Totalfilm.com 2009 movie blog awards were recently announced and voting is already under way.

There are 6 categories: Majors, Fan, Horror, Cult, Hollywood and World/Indie.

The Hobbit movie blog has been short listed for the fan category.

Although the competition looks stiff I have a phobia of finishing last (doctors certificate available on request) so your vote will be very much appreciated.

Being away from home and missing the start of voting and not announcing it until now has not helped the cause. At the moment the Hobbit Movie is over a thousand votes behind but with over a week to go it’s certainly not a lost cause.

Please Click Here to cast your vote. The page will open in a new window and you don’t need to register or anything like that. Simply scroll down the page that opens, select ‘The Hobbit Movie’ and hit vote.

As well as helping support this blog you will also be helping to get the word out about The Hobbit movies.

Thanks in advance,

Adrian

I’ve voted! Unfortunately Twilight News has a significant lead but that’s just because it’s a craze at the moment. I can’t stand those books myself. Anyway, just wanted to show my support to a fellow Tolkienite.

If you can’t wait for the Hobbit, then come down to the Duke of York’s Picturehouse in Brighton, UK (named one of the top ten cinemas in the world by Total Film) for an all night back -to-back marathon of the theatrical versions of THE LORD OF THE RINGS TRILOGY.

Hi Beren, it was listed as this coming Sunday but the closing date has been removed so hopefully they have had to put it back.

woah. It’s over, and Transformers just got about 1000 votes right at the very end. Is it just me or does that smell suspicious? Well, at least we didn’t place last.
