Del Toro Gives Hobbit Movie Update
Written by ady on November 15, 2008 – 11:40 pm -Guillermo Del Toro stopped to chat to Wired about how things were progressing with The Hobbit movie and things must be going nicely as he says he expects preproduction to get underway as early as January.
Wired caught up with Del Toro at a party held in Hollywood nightclub ‘Element’ to celebrate the launch of Hellboy 2 on DVD and Blu-Ray and which was attended by most of the cast from Hellboy.
He told Wired that his normal notebook that he normally carries around to make notes on ideas for his movies his kept under lock and key while he works on the Hobbit.
“With something as big as The Hobbit, if I were to lose that notebook, there would be legal hell to pay,” he said. “So, I have a safe place for that one, and it stays there.”
