The-Hobbit-Movie.com has been given a new layout and design so if you are a returning visitor, no you didn’t type in the wrong address!
I’m hoping this layout will make it easer for people to find the story they are after but I’m still tweaking it over the weekend so if things go a little wobbly as you navigate around, please do not adjust your set.
The tabs in this section (just above) let you flick through each category to see what, if anything is happening in the various catergories. If you scroll down a little, you will see where the 2 main categories over the next year or so will be. These will cover casting and news and gossip surrounding the making of The Hobbit movies.

Hello All! I have read that Christopher Tolkien is going to court to prevent the filming of ‘Part 2′ of The Hobbit - since the estate never sold the rights to the story - based upon the Silmarillion.
I find myself torn by this news. I want Christopher to get his due - but I REALLY want to see that movie!
Whoever they cast as Bilbo should have a resemblance to Sir Ian Holm as a “younger” (50 yr–old) Hobbit, or at least someone who could be given a close resemblance via make-up!!! Since others have OKd their presence in the films, there should be close consistency.
Also, give the Tolkien Estate its due ~ Hollywood will make its money, NP!

I was used to the previous layout and it is kinda difficult for me now, but I will adjust myself to this one, too. But I just don’t like the banner… Somehow it doesn’t hit
I agree with Galin, It is harder to find the newest news etc.
Wait…is this the new layout? What happened with the old one? The other one was better. Bring it back please.
