Guillermo Del Toro Drops More Hobbit Movie Hints

Del Toro had called into the Hellboy 2 forum and ended up posting a comment about The Hobbit movies.
“I am dying to share news but I have to be patient and wait until the papers are done and my attachment is real. Nevertheless- a LOT of progress in defining the films, their cast and crew. And, may I add, we are all happily in synch about all creative aspects so far and all willing and eager to move forth.”
He goes on to say we should expect good news within the next 2 weeks. Maybe he should have a look at this Hobbit Screenplay site that I found today written by University College London Lecturer Duncan Alexander Smith.
He raises some very interesting points and his proposed adaptation attempts to make the movie appeal to Lord Of The Rings fans while retaining the core of the Hobbit story. Check it out and leave Duncan your own ideas here.
