Bob Shaye and Peter Jackson – Relations thawing?

Having only recently announcing Peter Jackson would NOT be having anything to do with The Hobbit movie it now appears that New Line Cinema are reconsidering their position.

Its reported from New Zealand that Jackson is still keen to do the movie and the proposed meeting I mentioned in an earlier post between himself and Sir Ian McKellen is supposedly taking place tonight as Sir Ian is in New Zealand playing King Lear on stage.
