The entry suggesting that Sam Raimi is in negotiations for the Hobbit is complete rubbish. He indicated at ComicCon that he was NOT in the business of following Peter Jackson- see his comments at: http://www.comicbookresources.com:80/news/newsitem.cgi?id=11417

    Hi David

If you click on the source link you can watch him on video at the comic con yesterday sayin he is in negotiations with New Line regards The Hobbit movie.

Interesting. He knows more than he is letting on. He is officially pretty non-committal in reply. However when he scratched his head on direct questioning, it is a sign (to courtroom lawyers like myself)that he is not being entirely truthful with the interviewer!

Thats about the way I read it to. When asked “It is (the hobbit) something you would be interested in doing though yes?” he replied “I really can’t say anything at this point.”

I’d take that as confirmation :-)
